General Information / FAQs

Housing: Overnight Campers will be housed in the University of Oregon residence halls. Camp coaches will reside on each floor for supervision. Only 2 campers are allowed per room.  Don't wait too long, as your session may close.  There will be a $30 charge for any lost room keys.  The rooms do not have refrigerators but the camp counselor will have one in their room.  A pillow and bed linens are provided by Conference & Catering.  Each camper will need to bring their own toiletries and towels.  Campers will take a short 5 minute walk from the dorm to Matthew Knight Arena. Campers walk to all volleyball-related activities. Note that counselors and coaches walk with the campers to the court.

Overnight Campers | What To Bring:

  • Portable Fan for dorm room, they are not air conditioned
  • Enough Comfortable Workout Clothes For 7 Volleyball Sessions (Shorts, T-Shirts, Comfortable Gym Shoes, Knee Pads).
  • Bathroom Essentials (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Shampoo, etc.)
  • Towel To Shower
  • Comfortable Shoes For Time Outside the Gym
  • Snacks
  • Water Bottle (We will have water on site in addition to Gatorade)

Roommates | Parents / Campers: Oregon Volleyball Camp will make every attempt to honor requests as submitted.  Assignments are made 1-2 weeks prior to camp and will be distributed at check-in. Priority is given to campers who request each other as their roommate. The only reason we wouldn’t honor a campers request is if the preference isn’t in the same camp session or roommate requested is involved in another rooming situation.  Campers are 2/room.  If campers do not indicate a roommate request, an age-appropriate roommate will be assigned.

Meals: Meals will be provided by our university food service in an air-conditioned dining hall. They offer a wide variety of food and have gluten free options.   Overnight campers will be served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Commuter campers (Individual Camp) will be served lunch.  Team camp commuter fees do not include meals.

Camp Gear: All campers should bring appropriate training gear (shoes, shorts, socks, kneepads, extra t-shirts, water bottle, etc.). Overnight campers are expected to bring their own towels, as well as toilet articles and other articles of clothing as desired. Extra spending money for snacks, Duck store items, etc. may be helpful.

Insurance: All campers must carry their own insurance. Oregon Volleyball Camps DO NOT require campers to submit a Medical/Physical form to participate in our camps. Oregon Volleyball Camp DOES require each camper to provide Insurance information and report any recent/current injuries, diagnosis or medications/prescriptions to Athletic Trainers at check-in. It is recommended you have a current physical to make sure you are in good physical condition and no injuries or ailments exist prior to camp.

Confirmation Letter With Camp Check-In Information: Each camper will be sent a confirmation letter via e-mail after the completed camp application, parental consent form, and payment is received. A parent e-mail address is preferred. This letter will contain all necessary camp check-in information and camp time format.  If you do not have access to e-mail, please specify on application and a hard copy of the confirmation letter will be sent to your home address indicated in the camp application.

Cancellation / Refund Policy: Please click on the tab on the main page for more information regarding this policy.
